Who you are sending your documents to.

Opening a gateway account means handing a stranger your company papers and a director's passport. This page exists so you can decide whether that is reasonable.

The company

Built for markets where cards are not the answer.

Across South and Southeast Asia most consumers do not hold a card that works for online cross-border payment, but nearly all of them hold a wallet or a bank app that does. That is the problem the company was built for. We now document card-first markets too, because a merchant selling into Asia usually sells into the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Italy as well, and the awkward part is not the card there but getting the proceeds out. PayIbex connects merchants to whichever rail a market actually runs on and settles the proceeds in USDT, which removes the need to open and maintain a bank relationship in every country you sell into.

How we make money

A commission on each collection, plus what the payout network charges to move money out. There is no other revenue line, and publishing that is deliberate: an unfamiliar gateway that will not say how it earns is one you should ask harder questions of. The numbers are on pricing.

  • Coverage means both directionsA market is listed when we can collect in it and pay out of it, not when a logo exists.
  • Payouts pass a personSlower on purpose. A payment to the wrong address is unrecoverable.
  • We say no in week oneSome businesses we cannot support. You hear that first, not after you integrate.
  • One ledger, one numberEverything written once, in order, exportable, reconcilable against your books.

Company details

Before you send a gateway your company papers and a director's passport, you are entitled to know exactly who is receiving them.

Ask us for the registered entity name, its jurisdiction, its company number and its registered address, and for a plain statement of what licences are held and in which countries. You should get all of it in writing before you send a single document, and if any gateway will not give you that, do not send them anything.

PayIbex is not a bank and does not take deposits. A balance held with us is a record of what we owe you, not a deposit, and it is not insured.

Send three things: the country, the methods you need, and roughly what you move each month. You get a straight answer, including if the answer is no.
